About Resuscitech:

ResusciTech was founded in the fall of 2018 by Abigail Kohler and Greg Fine when they were undergraduate engineering students at Brown University. Since then, they have developed a patent-pending, smartphone-based CPR feedback technology with the goal of improving outcomes in out of hospital cardiac arrest. This technology is utilized in their flagship product, SMART Certification, an app that provides CPR training and uses our smartphone-based feedback technology to perform skills evaluation and issue CPR certification.

ResusciTech has been a part of many accelerators and programs, including Brown University’s Breakthrough Lab, NEMIC’s Activate program, MassChallenge Rhode Island, the American Heart Association’s EmPOWERED to Serve Accelerator, the NIH funded DRIVEN Accelerator Hub, and the Master of Business Creation program at the University of Utah. ResusciTech has also been named one of the Top 6 Finalists at MassChallenge RI, 3rd place winners of the Brown Venture Prize, winners of the medtech track of the Rhode Island Business Competition, recipients of the EmPOWERED to Serve Accelerator’s $40,000 top grant, and recipients of the DRIVEN Acceleration Fund Award.
